Monsters are dangerous—but so are heroes.
And Tallow is both.
Every night, he unwillingly transforms into a monster with an unquenchable appetite for blood. But instead of killing innocent souls, he hunts other monsters… like the Beast of Felda, the terror of the city of Nista.
As an orphan exiled from his home in the east, it’s a lonely life for Tallow. At least, until he falls in love with the city’s princess, Avena.
Determined to prove his worth, Tallow enters a tournament hosted by Avena’s father, King Walfred, to win her hand. But as he hacks and slashes his way to the final bout, a pair of ferocious cyclopes invade the arena. After a brutal skirmish, the king demands a new price for his daughter: the eyes of the beasts themselves.
Dark forces stir on the horizon. And Tallow, suddenly hailed as Nista’s champion, realizes that heroism brings appetites of its own.
THE BEASTS OF FELDA is a sword-and-sorcery dark fantasy novel about sun-kissed heroes, moonlit beasts, and the often blurry lines between the two.
